History of the Temple

There was a demon named Tripurasur in Tretayuga .He worshiped Lord Shankara and asked for his Amaratva's blessing to Shankara. Lord Shankar gave him above that no male or female could kill you. Due to Shankara's blessings, he was fascinated by all three people (earth, heaven, abyss) and began to harass the human race. It lasted a long time. Lord Shankar surrendered with all Devgana. Lord Shankar became angry and decided to destroy Tripurasa. The chariot was created for 4 Vedas, four pillars, moon, sun wheel, Sant Naga bow, and Vishnu on the arrow. This is analyzed in the following verse.

Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh, together with the luminaries of Shri Adiya Adish Shakti Parvati, worshiped the Panchatatva (water, gas, sky, abyss, earth). Parvati was appealed from Kamal Pushpa. This Parvati lives in the Bhimashankar area today. This adorable is known as "Kamalja Mata". Lord Shankar and Adimaya Parvati came together and took the form of half. Taking such a half -form, the slaughter of Tripurasura was slaughtered at Shri Kshetra Bhimashankar on the day of Kartik Purnima.

This war was killed by Kartik Pure Pratipada to Kartik Pure Purnima, Tripurasura was killed on the day of Kartik Purnima. The Bhima river originated from where the sweat streams were coming from the body of God as they were sitting for rest. At that time, Devganani requested Lord Shankar, we should all be sitting here for the welfare of the human race. Accepting this request, Lord Shankarani lived there as self -esteem Shivalinga .The two of his Bharatiya Shakini and Dakini gods were surrendered after the slaughter of Supura Suri. Shankara gave them a boon, you will get your name before my name. Therefore, the verse describes "Dakinayam Bhimshankaram". Jyotirlinga means that Jyoti Swaroop Self -Kwa Where is Lord Shankar. On the day of Karthik Pournima, the grand divine celebration is still celebrated today due to the killing of Tripurasura.
